I look forward to your post about zebras. Sounds like the question of whether or not to pet a zebra is actually a very black and white issue...

Oh my, the regrets of not having thought of this quip are real...

I know the feeling. In the mane, I come up with jokes on the hoof, but there's always one I think of too late. Anyway, you're very welcome to use it if you like.

Lol. There is nothing about this post that I didn’t love. Whether goatish or GOATish ;). Made me feel like I should write more (although not right now. Way too much...). Anyway, thank you for this supremely Katy moment ;)

No, no, not right now - SO MUCH on for you. Let me know if I can support you, other than making you laugh about goats. And now I am going to dig out my zebra paintings from the time I had an obsession with zebras (you know more than most that I am really not kidding here).

Niccolò Machiavelli was supposed to have written in his book ‘The Prince’, "It is better to be feared than to be loved, if one cannot be both." When it comes to the cut, thrust and harsh realities of life, I tend to the view that if you can’t get people to like you, you should at least get them to fear you. I doubt this approach is a recipe for being a successful Internet personality. But I know it helped keep me safe over two decades of policing.

In that context - a wise choice. I can entirely imagine that you'd have some pretty scary situations.
